Not really looking for anything incredibly fast as used to, but looking for stuff with an obvious NWOBHM influence like Kill em all. Also anything along similar lines to Slayer's Show no mercy would be appreciated as well

Not too many. And even less that sound like KEA or Show No Mercy, but I can think of a few fairly obscure thrash bands that have a heavy NWOBHM influence.

Abbatoir comes to mind.

Also check out Whiplash, Maniac, Carrion, Exorcist, Hallows Eve.
I'll think some more on it and see if I can be of further assistance.

Blistered Earth changed their name to Graveheart and swapped their style to death metal, and then got signed.

Lame as shit, coz they were really promising. Besides which, Graveheart is one of the shittiest generic names ever.

EDIT: At least, I heard they got signed. A quick search just revealed they've done nothing since a 2008 demo so maybe I'm wrong. Also, their MA page says they're still thrash, but I've heard their Graveheart shit and it's definitely DM.
