Still one of my favorite bands after 8 years of listening to this music, they've stagnated once only to come back solidly on this one. Hopefully, from what I've heard it's a return to their faster roots, and will sound more as they did on Lair of the white worm. Great reviews as always Khelek

They rarely disappoint. I'm sure I'll like this one. Thanks for the heads up.

Enjoyed Passiondale and if this album can keep up with that then I'll be a happy camper.

Their best album in years. A lot more aggression and better songwriting.

Could those who've listened describe the songwriting style? Is it extremely verse/chorus oriented like Liar of the White Worm was?

I loved their older material like 'The Grand Grimoire' but need some more varied song structures than what I've heard of their newer stuff.

Their newer stuff is verse chorus verse oriented, and is a bit catchier at least up until this album.

Sounds like the b-sides to Passiondale. Not that great in my book considering P-dale was pretty awesome.
