I've heard a song from this album on a music station, and it strikes me as being solid and nothing less than that. I've always been struck at how distinct the vocalist is, and while I've never fully dug into the band I'm sure they've matured greatly.

They're one of the better metalcore bands out there, they definitely set themselves apart from the pack. Yet they annoy me after a few songs. I still don't really know why.

Probably the vocals which take some getting used too, they've got kind of a nasal quality about them which makes it difficult to enjoy them thoroughly.

You'd think that but strangely that is not the case. I've known them for five years now so I've had plenty of time to get used to the vocals. Those vocals are one of the reasons they set themselves apart in my opinion.
