I'm glad that you're looking forward to the new album, as am I. In fact, I just preordered it from Amazon a few night's ago. :)

This sounds very promising from the sample I've heard on their myspace.

Ghost Opera was patchy compared to their better albums, hope this is an improvement.

That Myglobalmind Webzine review is actually my review, written by me, I own and started the Webzine about a year ago. I know i dont stay active on here much but thanks for posting the link. By the way the new Kamelot is great record, better then Ghost Opera, has a little of bit of everything they've done the past years.

The two videos and songs they've previewed in that one Wacken thing sounded and looked amazing. I have extremely high hopes for this album. The videos just looked awesome.

So far I think it's better than Ghost Opera. But I'm not sure how much better. There isn't much new or different on the album in terms of their sound.

That song isn't too awesome...

Halfway through the first spin now.. Holy motherfuck, I've always meant that Youngblood should shred more, he's such an amazing guitarist. He seems to have taken my advice!

Hmmm... This isn't too impressive to be honest. Only listened properly once but yeah... Considering I haven't listened to much power metal since well, Ghost Opera, I thought I would like this instantly. Will of course give this much more spins before I judge it though.

Very disappointing, definitely not as good as I first thought.

The song for that vid needs more keys beyond a piano mixed way in the back, don't mean just strings, just something else to make the song a bit more interesting. Didn't have that epicness to it I was excepting.

It has grown a bit on me at least. A couple of brilliant tunes here.

So you really managed to listen to the whole album  ? I gave up two thirds in. As far as I'm concerned this band is now officially a has-been. This wannabesymphonic shit they're playing now has nothing in common with metal, and it's not very good for what it is either. Too bad, I really liked them up to and including TBH.

Well, Hunter's Season, House on the Hill and Incubus isn't too bad, they're actually pretty damn great.. The rest is pretty so-so though. Will give it some more time. It's Kamelot after all.
