Would I like this band and where should I start with them? Why does google show me naked men when I image search the singer's name?
You probably wouldn't but you should definitely hear these songs:

You see nakeds 'cause Pete was a ladies man, i.e., posed in some porn.

Just fyi, those songs are shortened because music videos. The album version of Everything Dies is orgasmic.

Yes. I kinda dislike/am apathetic towards Dead Again. Don't stop there.

"Dead Again" is probably my favorite Type O Negative album with "Bloody Kisses" right there and "Life Is Killing Me" a close third! :dio:

I do dig LIMK despite being really radio-friendly/teenage angsty.

I really love all of Type O Negative's albums and would probably just fanboy them all into classic status, but honestly this was probably one of their releases that I'm not completely in love with. I'd say definitely Bloody Kisses or World Coming Down are utter classics without argument, but with this one I feel like maybe they were under the influence to pop it up a bit. I dunno, I'd have to go through the album again it's usually not one I spin often when I do listen to Type O.

I still love it all the same.

Get World Coming Down immediately. I suppose if you don't love that then Type O may just not be your bag. Great album.

Life Is Killing Me is definitely the poppiest of Type O. This one has just a few dashes of that backed up with some classic O gothic doom tracks.

my favorite type o album. they trimmed the fat and there is barely any filler, which you can't say about any other type o album.
*cough* world coming down *cough*

The noise made by bodily functions isn't filler.

Just wait until my review of it in the coming weeks ;)

Don't worry. it's my second favorite Type O album.

Yeah. I need to listen to the album again to get my thoughts together as to why it's not exactly one of my favorites. I mean it's still a good album for sure.

Big fan of Life is Killing Me, actually. That's probably one of my favorite albums of theirs. Sans the fast paced songs. I don't like any of their fast tracks at all.

Honestly, their fast tracks are some of my favorite. SIX INCHES FORWARD AND FIVE INCHES BACK! :dio:

Then again I am a big Carnivore fan. Is their any chance you guys could do Pete Steel or Dio weeks and finish off those guys' respective discographies? You have enough reviewers to tackle everything and still have other reviews out.

Shit, why did I never give this band a fair shake? I mean they aren't that much more accessible than MDB, and Peter Steele was twice the singer Aaron Stainthorpe is (sorry Aaron). World Coming Down sounds like the album for me--I'm loving their doomier stuff on youtube now.

I'm confused. This is way more accessible than MDB insofar as you don't have to fight falling asleep.

All of Type O's doom tracks are outstanding. There will be lots for you to love.

Their poppy tracks are pretty great too. Pyretta Blaze is one of my favorites from World Coming Down

Just kidding, bro. I dig Dreadful Hours but beyond that I hadn't given MDB much attention.
