Probably because it's a Mick Kenny side project!

did you know they are 1 of 50 reasons to visit Montreal?

they came in 6th right behind spiral staircases

:lame:

don't quit your day job...

I'm not trying to be funny, it said it in a French magazine I read over the weekend.

True story.

So now you can read french ? I have some serious doubts about that...

I am born and raised canadian, my french may not be perfect but I can hold my own. it was mandatory from grade 1 to grade 9.

Well I went to an english school in Montreal and I can tell you if your french classes were anything like what we had, you would have a hard time understanding the simplest of things. Most of my old schoolmates can't even use french on a daily basis and in a french province to boot. So let me doubt about the quality of french teaching in an english province such as Ontario...

On the other spectrum of languages, English taught in French school is also worth zip. All of my cousins went to french school and amongst them only 5 or 6 out of 40 understands and/or speaks english. Definitely not a good average.

let me put this to rest and say I can read a little bit of french. Nothing compared to what you can, but I can understand a top 50 reasons to visit Montreal countdown.

Produced by Sanford Parker (Nachtmystium, Pelican, Yakuza).
At least, it'll sound good.

I like the trippy drug music. Maybe you guys overseas should go back to cutting yourselves in record store basements to start up that whole thing again.

I'm not overseas. Suicide black metal really has nothing to do with this either.

The problem with the current USBM scene isn't that it is necessarily 'bad' music; in fact, I think some is quite good. It just isn't black metal.

On the very tiny chance that anyone is interested, I expressed my own thoughts on the issue of US unblack metal in my review of the Petrychor EP

http://www.metalreviews.com/reviews/detail.php3?id=6445

In hindisght that's actually quite restrained and balanced. What I meant to say was "this is the future, get back to your dungeon, Skartasis!" :P

Tony Choy is out of Atheist, and the new Cradle Of Filth will be called "Darkly Darkly Venus Aversa". I shit you not, it's a concept album about Lilith, wife of Adam and Satan and all-around good time girl.
