And?
I tried the first two and it's still a miss for me. Maybe it was fun to see it when it was first aired...

Perhaps your responses solidify what I was implying with the OP: that B&B is probably one of those "You Have To Have Been There..." shows. It's much funnier when you put it in the context of when it was made (during the mid-90's, when that whole "dumb guy" mentality was cool among teenagers - at least here in the States).

I don't know - the best comedy is timeless, like Fawlty Towers or Yes Minister. Maybe it's funnier at a certain age, rather than a certain place?

I'm 27, and I find it funny. But, then again, I began watching the show when I was 15. So that may have something to do with it.

On a sidenote, does anybody else dig the spin-off series Daria?

What, the experience of being an immature schoolboy is something unique to you Yankside sorts? It's shitty. Now, Seinfeld is about as American as you can get, but is brilliant and timeless.

Don't get butthurt about it. It was a cultural thing, you would have had to have grown up with it. It's much like how I'm sure we'd be clueless in regards to some of your shows overseas.

Seinfeld sucks, just sayin'. Curb Your Enthusiasm was way more badass.

Seinfeld doesn't suck! Still, coming from an In Flames fan, what can you expect...
