I'm actually interested to see what this sounds like. I liked City of Evil, didn't like the s/t as much...for those of you who don't know, their drummer died, so Mike Portnoy is drumming on this album. Should be interesting, at the very least.

Maybe...I'm very cautiously hopeful. City of Evil would actually be really good if their singer didn't suck.

Yeah, he sounds too much like Axl for me to get what the fuss is about this band. There are some good duelling guitars tho.
Will check this out but I'm pretty sure I'll hate it because of the singer just like I did with CoE & the S/t.

Sweet! I hope the production will be better than on their debut though.

Their guitarist / lead songwriter agreed to do an interview with me, should be an interesting discussion. I'll make a thread soon so that people can put in their own questions if they wish.

The line-up is completely different except for 1 guy now, if I'm not mistaken.

I only know because the singer from the first album is now in White Wizzard and I anxiously await some output from them, as I'm slightly nervous he won't fit right with those guys....

Yeah, but now the band has relocated to Denver Colorado and is starting fresh with only one original member remaining (thankfully the one remaining is the one that is responsible for most of the songwriting).
