I have written so many reviews, so there indeed may be some "dry" ones. Especially when it is neither bad, nor breathtaking. For "passion", check my Green Carnation - Light of Day, Day of Darkness review. That album really touched me on a personal note, you will see why, if you bother to read of course. We may, of course disagree on whether to appreciate the Green Carnation art ...

From what I gathered today (figuring I didn't read any of these "offending" posts until today, because I didn't listen to this demo, I don't like Opeth at all, and I have don't know who Slough Feg are) but it looks all the Harbringer comments where good, then someone mentioned what happened to the Slough Feg topic, and then Alex posted on that, and that's pretty much where it went.

Yeah, apperently they got mad that instead of talking about the music people where insulting their album cover or whatever. Thus, officially giving them, the "biggest pussies in metal who are not, in fact, Dave Mustane" award. I completely agree with Holy Terror's comments earlier in the topic, which was something along the lines of "Unless you're Iron Maiden, you're band is going to get shit on in metal forums."

even Iron Maiden gets plenty of shit, and the cover art of DoD is one of the worst I ever seen.

Harbinger show with Slough Feg this Wednesday at Mac's Bar in East Lansing....assuming there are people from Michigan on the board. If you want a bootleg of the show we have a couple of new songs that werent on the demo. I doubt anyone will care, but I'm throwing this out there anyway.

Well the Slough Feg show was a complete success. They're a fucking awesome band and great guys too. Unfortunately the master tape was destroyed by the dumbass sound guy at the bar so no live recordings. WHich is a fucking shame because the show kicked total ass. But fear not. Harbinger is recording a new proper demo with new songs on it. 3 new songs plus a cover. Either Still Searching by Agent Steel, or Warrior by Helloween.

Gast you'll be one of the first to get it seeing as how I came up empty handed this time. a thousand apologies.
