words can not describe how awesome this album is. It's like 1 long ass song of pure awesomeness. There are some heavy as hell riffs, and it's from 1972! I like how it can be all heavy and pre-doom like, then it goes all funky.

awesome review for an awesome album

Hell yeah this is awesome. I didn't know dude was Johnny Winter's drummer, but I will now have to listen to some JW because he's the best drummer I've heard on a 70s rock album.

also Rod Evans from Deep Purple and basically all of Iron Butterfly. It's like a 70s super group, but doesn't suck.

Consider me titillated.

Gonna find a song on YouTube after Red is over, though.

I got this back in the 80's on vinyl with the 3-D cover. One of the best from the 70's. Check out Sufficiently Breathless and Dawn Explosion. Not as good as the 1st but still quality releases.

Sufficiently Breathless is cool, but it's different than this. Kinda like Floyd meets Santana. Have not heard Dawn Explosion, but it doesn't have Evans so i'm not expecting greatness.

Man, have you heard the first three Deep Purple albums from before Ian Gillan joined?

Rod Evans was the singer, you know. It's good shit too. But no where near as heavy as the later stuff.

yeah yeah yeah

I know he's from DP, I'm pretty sure I posted it somewhere else on the site before. And yes, I enjoy Evans era DP, just not as much as the Gillan/Blackmore/etc era.

now you should listen to this.
