Yeah, be sure to check out their second album too! It's a bit different, but it's good too. :)

I have their previous album "Corona Borealis" and I thought it was pretty average.... does this new album show any difference or is it just a band that doesn't fit my taste ?

Haven't heard Corona Borealis, so I can't comment

tell me, how come you reviewed their old album first ?... isn't the newest one (with any band) a priority...

and on Corona Borealis it sounds imo too much like a Bodom rip-off to be really interesting.. some good songs though..

I never had COrona Borealis. SO Pale is the Light was the next in my to-do-list, in order it was received, no preferential treatment. I didn;t even know they had another album. And Bodom rio-off that wasn't, quite a bit more epic, folky and with the Finnish spirit

Well, IMO calling Cadacross' 2nd album a Bodom rip-off is just so wrong. :? Rip-off means that a band sounds exactly like a certain other band and this is not the case here AT ALL. Actually their debut sounded more like Bodom than the newer album... but still, it's no rip-off.

But if you want to hear tr00 Bodom rip-off then listen to Throne Of Chaos' first album! It does NOT get closer to Bodom than that!! ...But the sad side is that it is also their best album :(

Year of release is 2001, not 2005

Decent album, reminds me sometimes of Amorphis, 75/100
