TiA is a much more mature and progressive album. Focus isn't bad by any means but TiA beats it in terms of direction and overall song writing. It works much better as a whole. Focus isn't really one of the best proto-tech death albums anyways. Atheist and Death both wrote better ones. TiA takes what they used to do and improves it tenfold by being much better composed and more focused. :lol:

The songwriting is just impeccable and can't be beat.

I'm not sure about the bolded part, but otherwise very well put.

I agree with the bolded part. The rest...not so much.
