Well, of course it's going to suck, it's a Thrash metal album by a veteran band coming out after 1992. It's going to be "half-thrash" or quasi-Thrash" or "Groove-Thrash" or whatever elitist nonsense can be thrown at it by people who just can't accept that the world has moved on from them. These people will be wrong of course as when you see the band play their new shit live coupled with the older "True Thrash" songs like I saw them do last month, well guess what? The new shit sounds exactly like the old shit. It's not an Exodus problem, it's a you problem. Young and Old alike ripped up the pit to Children of a Worthless God, Riot Act, Deathamphetamine etc. just as much as we did to Piranha, Bonded By Blood and Strike of the Beast. Adding more melody, as if Gary Holt wasn't a master of melody to begin with, doesn't make it "Not Thrash". It's Thrash, this will Thrash, and you're still gonna be wrong.
