I want to see Pandorum and I Sell the Dead now. Both seemed intriguing but now that I've heard good things I will have to check them out.

Let me know if you see Pandorum. Some of the acting is pretty poor (Dennis Quaid spends the first half of the movie saying the same line over and over), but other than that I really enjoyed it.

Watching District 9 again. It's lost some of its "Wow" factor now that I'm watching it on a smaller screen, but as Wikus would say, it's still a "Foockin" awesome film.

The original title was The Madness Of George III, but they had to change it because they were afraid American audiences would think they were missing I and II.

Can't blame the poor guy. Such spoiled, ungrateful children the colonies were!

It kinda makes sense, though... I mean, even if the average American does know that we have had many kings called George, they might just think it was about some mad dude called George.

Watched Kick Ass last night. Lot of fun.

I'd definitely recommend I Sell the Dead. I really liked it. Fully intend on seeing Pandorum as well. I've only heard good things.

A lot of people complain that the plot was too twisty, but I loved it for that very reason. Even if it was fucking ridiculous.

Is it just me, or did the mutants look really stop motion-y in some scenes?

the mutants were the worst part, it still would of been a damn fine movie without them

The mutants were just kinda... there. To give them a reason to run. They had no real place in the movie and even though you get an idea of where they came from, it's still kinda vague.

Haha, I can imagine an alternate cut of the movie where they edit out the mutants, and when Bower is trying to fix the reactor, he's creeping along on the floor wearing smelly blankets for no reason.

So I'm curious, has anyone heard of this movie called Human Centipede (First Sequence) ?

Oh yeah. The concept is just disgusting, but the trailer is hilarious. It sounds so weird that I actually want to see it... kinda.

Dude, I watched the trailer and I think I'm scarred for life. That was incredibly disturbing. I'll pass.

Yeah, basically what you said. I was passing it around to friends today and the looks on their faces before they busted up laughing were priceless. One of my friends watched the whole thing going "Wait, what?? What IS this? ..... Oh God, NO!!"
