What do you think of the 9/11 truth movement? Do you think it was an 'inside job'? If you've researched their points do you agree with them? Do you think 9/11 was the work of our government?

It's absolute garbage that's based on the bizzare messiah complex of the theorists rather than actual fact.

I do not know what caused it really. There are a lot of unanswered questions that officials have refused to address as well as glaring contradictions of the report. The government severely underfunded the investigation, did not follow anything that leads where they didn't want to go and took people at their word without following up on it. I couldn't say there are any compelling answers to who is responsible for it at all. There are a whole lot of questions that we simply won't investigate, so answers are unlikely to come.

I don't feel like getting into the specifics of it all. It's out there if you want to get into it yourself.

Penn and Teller can't tell their ass from their head when it comes to advocating anarcho-capitalism but they debunk bullshit really well as I think this stuff is.

I do not care about conspiracy theories at all. I only believe what I see and what seems logical to me. However, The American government have failed to answer too many questions about the incident and that's why people got into such wild theories. But of course, as it is with all of this kind of controversial issues, it will be just another page in history with a lot of unanswered questions.

The problem with penn and teller is they think asking any questions at all seem to indicate you are somehow in league with irrational people that make irrational faith based arguments.

If I were a married man and my wife came home 4 hours late smeeling like whiskey, I wouldn't believe her story that she was shopping. They take they logical conclusion that since I was not there she must be right and that any evidence to the contrary is just bullshit speculation. This is the main problem they have, even though I agree with them a lot of the time otherwise. They constantly assert that because any one claim taken to it's absolute extreme is invalid, the question doesn't deserve an answer. The slippery-slope logical fallacy.

Because the 9/11 commission was not an independent organization and was severely budget locked does not mean the government is responsible, but that is something they would claim everyone who asks "why" would assume. That kind of problem deserves an answer and asking it does not assume anything.

They think questioning convenient or official answers is fishing for faith in something that can't be proven. Like whoever has the most money or the loudest speaker someone has the most proof.

What he said. The whole 9/11 Inside Job theory was I think more-or-less popularized by the Zeitgeist movie a few years ago. And while it's true that The Government has neglected a lot of important questions and underfunded the whole 9/11 Investigation, the extremist idea that it was an "Inside Job" has been refuted so many times, it's unbelievable.

These 9/11 truthers are batshit. They're ignoring the real conspiracy - that the US government has invisible warships with which it carries out terrorist attacks, teleporting people through walls and fusing them inside the ground.
