Given the fact that his two ambient electronic albums he made in prison scored extremely low on this site and the fact that all of his albums using actual studio time and instruments scored classic do you guys think that White God (what I believe it's called) will be as incredible as say Filosofem or Aske? I'm hoping it is but years in prison and an absence from music can change a songwriter drastically.

I expect it to be great (I'm very optimistic though)

Your thoughts???

Dude.

But it's been released. I have a copy right next to me right now, my review is written and will be up next Monday. It's not perfect, but it's pretty darn good, and deserves the time and attention of fans of the first four albums without a doubt.

Unbelievable. I am a HUGE Burzum fan but I've been so focused on school and rugby that I completely missed this. WTF sorry I feel like an idiot now. Good to hear some positive notes on that I'm gonna get a hold of it soon. Thanks.

I haven't given this a listen, yet.
Sounds intruiging, though.

I had listened to all the songs online before, but I recently just bought my copy of Belus. When I first heard that a new album was going to be released I was...well, excited as fuck, but trying not to get my hopes up since these "return from the beyond" things usually go badly. I have to say, though, that I'm definitely not disappointed at all. For me it'll never dethrone Hvis, Det som, Aske, Burzum or Filosofem, but it's definitely up there as a fucking great album.

So, are you gonna stick around awhile?
Nice to have a female around that actually is into metal, and likes to talk about it.

I tend to occasionally drop off the face of the internet every so often, but should be sticking around for a bit since things are somewhat less crazy these days.
