I'm sick of hardcore-tinged bands. At first it was novel, now it seems a huge amount of bands I'm hearing have some hardcore to their sound.

EDIT: I see I already posted here, now. Oh well. My point still stands. I dunno where they came from.

I'm fine with Hardcore-tinge, if it's done right, but one of the things that totally bugs me about Kezia is that one part where they're all like

"YOUR FLESH! MEANS! MORE! THAN!... YOU!!!"

It's one of the most unintentionally(?) hilarious moments ever.

the backing vocals on Kezia are so awesomely bad ^^!!

hardcore and metal are so close in style that they've been mixed by tons of bands ever since hardcore was started. kinda weird that it's started to annoy you now

You call that good?? A singer who sounds like he's complaining to his mother, sings most of the time looking straight at the floor and shows his underwear everytime he moves around is not "good" in my books.

That's the only shirt I've ever wanted simply for shock value.

My favorite track on the album, will be interesting to see what he does with it. Now how's about a UK tour, then?

Oh, just noticed this, what is up with the outro of Palms Read? It's completely unlinked to the rest of the song.

After sitting with this album for two years now imo it is easily the best album of 2008 and along with Zebulon Pike's The Deafening Twilight, one of the most relistenable metal albums I've come across. Srsly played this thing like 150 times and it still hasn't gotten old. Maybe best album of the decade? WHO KNOWS

Kezia's better, imo. There are still some wonky moments in this album. "Goddess Gagged" is def one of my favorite songs from them, though.

They both have their advantages and disadvantages compared to the other but Fortress is the one I play more often these days.

I don't know about it being THE album of the decade, but it would definitely be on a list of top 25 for me.
