I just checked this out a week ago and have been listening to it nearly nonstop since. This shit is fucking mind blowing. It's badass while being creepy as fuck. That Microsoft Sam shit creeped me the fuck out at one point. And the riffs! The riffs! Yeah, Scott Hull is the Elvis of grindcore.

What the fuck is the story to this album anyways? Girls in bikinis, one is licking the other one's eyes out while people watch in confusion, with concern, in shock or in arousal or all of the above. Then when they're done, the eyeless girl hops into Jennifer's vagoo?

I think it's something about a guy stalking his ex, but beyond that it's left up to the listener. Agreed, great album; Terrifyer's great too, assuming you've not heard that, although it's not half as weird and creepy. Phantom Limb was a bit disappointing.

I've been slowly moving back through their discography so I don't have a problem with Phantom Limb. It blew me away when I first heard it and each album I hear after that blows me away more. I didn't like the Natasha track though if you've heard that.

Phantom Limb lacks the brutality the earlier albums had but I feel like it still has some badass tracks and the second half of the album is the best of the sludgy stuff they've done.

For anyone who hasn't heard PD yet, I feel like this is appropriate: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b_4OloVk0ac

Yeah, I came to PL later. Not denying that it has some cool tracks (fucking Loathsome!) but all in all not a patch on the albums before. The first song of theirs I heard was

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ukYkC7Ek-0

then I got PITY, then Terrifyer, then the 38 Counts Of Battery thing, then PL. I've actually never listened to the whole Natasha track, thinking about it - always preferred the grindier stuff. Anyways, terrific band.

yeah comparing PL to terrifyer or PitY is a little one-sided which makes me really happy about how I got into them. thank you adam who I believe was be the reviewer of PL.

Gravedancer is sick but Carrion Fairy is by far their best track. I haven't listened to PitY enough to pick a favorite out yet. Hyperviolet or Body Scout or Cheerleader Corpses might be up there.

My favorite track from this is definately Hyperviolet. That drum solo is sick.

So is the one in Junkyard God. He's coming down on those skins with the force of a fucking sledgehammer there. I love it.

They've been the best band of the genre for quite some time now. Not counting napalm death, of course, they're something else entirely.
