It's a marketing strategy. They've done field research and found the topic taht was not exploited yet, and went at it.

Fruit is a very rarely touched topic in metal. I should look into that, being the entrepreneur that I am.

I know you all are rabid about this piece of now.

2010 NEW SIGNING / ALBUM INFO!
Imitated by many, and matched by none, Siege Of Amida Records welcome New Jersey's own original Slamming Gore Groove band, Waking the Cadaver, returning with a vengeance in 2010 to claim their throne as the true heavy hitter death metal kingpins. Waking The Cadaver's sophomore effort, Beyond Cops. Beyond God. ,will be sure to please every connoisseur of all that is sick in this current state of non-masculine, unoriginal, and overproduced "extreme music." Combining a barrage of ultra-brutal blasts, insane slam grooves, and relentlessly sadistic guttural vocals, Waking the Cadaver will destroy all imitators and extreme elitists alike with their own brand of twisted brutal death
metal. Prepare for an onslaught of unholy, hate-spewing authority, because 2010 is finally Slam Season.

This statement comes from the band-

Is that the same Shining that released uh... What is it... IV or VI? lol. I really should get more of their material.

And who is the band you posted before that, Zad?

They released IV and VI, but separated by V.

They're both called Shining, but the first is the Swedish Black Metal lot with Kvarforth on vocals who release albums via roman numerals, whilst the second is the Norwegian Jazz-Proggers who hooked up with Enslaved for the Apocalyptic concerto or whatever it was called. Both great, but very different.

Right on, thanks. I'll at least be getting the record from the black metal Shining. Those guys rock.

I'm probably the only one who cares, but a new Veil Of Maya album is coming out in April, titled [id].

I'm really looking forward to this. Their last album is fantastic.
