Yes because downloading a leaked version means nobody will buy it...

Aren't their first two albums posted online as well by the band itself?

No one? Surely not. But I'm sure thousands upon thousands of people have already downloaded it and totally enjoy it. Bet the band has a hell of a time selling just ONE thousand, though.

No idea, but those albums are no longer in print, unless you can score one of the limited Metal Mind reissues.

Since I see them for sale consistently in several CD shops, I'm doubting that this is true. But yes, Heathen does post their albums online.

And awesome! I'm checking this out! I've been waiting for this for four years. And yes, I will be buying it the day it comes out, unless it sucks, which I highly doubt.

Oh, and the new Overkill has leaked. I hereby declare this day to be THRASHTASTIC! I'll post my thoughts in a bit, but having listened to about three quarters of the Heathen, it is a completely fucking awesome album.

Not so hard to get hold of the limited editions.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Victims-Decepti ... 976&sr=8-2

For example.

You can still buy them new on Amazon. You can buy them in at least two music stores in Montreal; they are consistently always there, suggesting they're being restocked, since I know at least me and a few friends have bought them. And not for expensive rare import prices, either- they both sell for 20-25 (Canadian) bucks, and you can buy Victims of Deception off Amazon now for 17 bucks (American). So I'm going to assume that they haven't been out of print since the remaster a few years back.

Edit: Zad beat me to it.

The new Heathen is indeed awesome. It was a good decision to include the songs from the 2005 demo in it because they are great songs.

And the new Overkill is awesome too. Very catchy. Kind of lost its appeal after I sang every song in my mind constantly for two weeks but it is still very very fucking good.
