Well, this is a surprise. A Gnaw Their Tongues review.

I haven't purchased this album just yet, but I have heard a few songs off of Youtube, and it sounds as good as anything else he's conceived. Granted, he hasn't progressed too much since Reeking, Pained And Shuddering, but that doesn't mean that every release sounds exactly the same. To wit: they just keep getting more and more malignant.

There is one problem, however: because of all the doom and gloom, his albums are more of a situational listen than anything. And the sound might become tiring after a while -- or worse, cheesy... what with all the sound samples and subjects of murder. Which I guess is the only thing he hasn't progressed much from.

So yeah, I'd reccommend some of his earlier releases -- especially Die Mutter Wählt Das Todtenkleidchen, which sounds the most black metal-ish out of all of them.
