Well, I love me some Dark Tranquility, but this song sounded pretty much like their past 3 albums. Wasn't bad, just didn't smack me across the face with awesomeness. I'm still excited to hear this, just hope the album as a whole has more to offer.

that's because other than like 2 songs an album dark tranquillity is just mind numbingly boring.

Goatse was an internet phenomenon like 6 or 7 years ago. I hardly see any goatse links anymore. I guess people got tired of staring at a gaping anus. Go figure.

People said similar things about Lost To Apathy when it came out and look how Character turned out! They usually come out with a single that is sonically linked to previous albums but when the album comes out it's a whole different thing.


"Dream Oblivion" has the trademark DT sound but has a lot more keyboards than usual plus there's a whole lot more going in background songs than on Fiction and Character. I'm really anxious to here the rest of this album.

Just listened to Dream Oblivion. Unlike the songs on Fiction, it actually managed to keep me interested throughout, which is always a good thing. Hopefully the rest of the album will be just as solid.

Also, Husker's a douche.

Not sure if it's on their Myspace or not; I listened to it via Youtube.
