The big 4 of thrash metal will share the same stage for the first time ever this summer during at least 2 of the sonisphere festivals (Warsaw and Prague) but more are planned.

Would have been pretty awesome to see, I have tickets for the Stockholm festival but I don't think it's very likely that they will book Metallica for that one, we already have Iron Maiden(Which is better than Metallica so I'm not complaining )

In the words of Lars: "Who would have thought that more than 25 years after its inception, thrash metal's big 4 would not only still be around and more popular than ever, but will now play together for the first time...what a mindfuck! Bring it on!"

Tickets will probably be expensive as hell seeing as how all four bands was tons of $$$$. Will still probably be a decent show, Slayer and Megadeth are still awesome live.

Not a fan of Lars either, but I just think it's pretty cool that these bands will play at the same event, and that it's never happened before.

I really only like Megadeth, but something like this is really too epic to pass up.

I feel bad for the show directors. Having to tolerate the egos of King, Mustaine and Lars is a burden I wouldn't wish on my enemies.

You forgot to add most of Anthrax there. I kinda hope Bush sings for them again, but at the same time the rest turfed him out for a quick buck so why should he go back permamently?

It should be Coroner, Coma of Souls Era Kreator, Sabbat, and Holy Terror.

Warbringer, Evile, Suicidal Angels & Vektor ;)

Ok, Metallica & co are not that bad  . But the funny thing is, the most controversial band from the four during the last time was Anthrax...

All of you guys fail, there cant be a "big 4" thrash list (whatever that means) without Overkill.

the big 4 really is:

Killing is My Buisness...And Buisness is Good!, Peace Sells...But Who's Buying?, So Far, So Good... So What!?, and Rust in Peace.

They're playing in Zurich with Motörhead and Heaven And Hell supporting. Holy shit.
