Can you kill everything in your path while pimping hos? Aggressive marketing?

I wouldn't say that you are making that post "well" anything.

Feeling guilty about listening to something you enjoy is stupid. If you like it then listen to it. You are the only one capable of judging what you should listen to.

That being said, I sometimes catch myself singing along to Ad Hominem's "ZOG is Dead" and I kinda feel like a git when it happens. It's so stupid yet so damned catchy!

Yeah a musical pleasure I actually feel a bit ashamed of would be someone like Arghoslent. But then I don't really listen to them anymore anyway for precisely that reason.

So I assume the real title should be "non-metal/hard rock stuff you like"?

A lot of my wife's music  - Dido, Gomez, Gotye, PJ Harvey, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. She's got good taste. She also likes Soundgarden, Audioslave, QOTSA, Foo Fighters, Alice In Chains and some punk stuff. I do not like Norah Jones though - that woman writes elevator music.

Billy Joel - especially Piano Man which is one of my favourite songs of all time

Michael Jackson - don't own any but enjoy listening to it when it comes on radio.

The Message by Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five - only rap song I like.

Creedence Clear Water Revival - who doesn't like them?

I don't mind a lot of 70's rock ala Queen, Skyhooks etc.

Some Swedish rock - especially Hellacopters.

Mainstream rock ala Queens of the Stone Age, Foo Fighters, Living End, Red Hot Chilli Peppers etc.

Why would you ever be guilty of Nick Cave? Man is a genius.

Not guilty. As you saw judging by the contents I decided the title should be "non-metal/hard rock stuff you like"?

I don't feel guilty about any of the music I like.

I liked the Arctic Monkeys latest album even though I hated the other 2 and would always have arguments with my mates about them being the most overrated band ever.

It's a near-perfect mixture of aggressive and sophisticated rock n'roll. The Libertines is a perfect mixture.

I thought whatever singles that were out at the time were solid, if not my cup of tea exactly. If my tastes weren't so crystalized, id probably like them.
