Hi dad?
Exactly. I thought someone was getting an axe to the head and then bam soap opera ahoy! I more care about how Dexter is going to get around Lithgow's family after he just exploded at Thanksgiving.

Started season 5 of The Wire today, didn't finish the entire episode due to lack of time, but man does this have potential to be the best season of them all.

For those of you who weren't scared off by my spoilers, soldier on through the show. Season 5, so far, will be amazing.

Thought last week's episode of The Thick Of It was better than this one's, but there's still two to go, so hopefully it'll go out with a bang! :D

oh, that's good... I assumed yesterday was the last...

What a great show. I love how there isn't a single sympathetic character in it, just like in real life.

I thought they were making Peter Mannion seem quite decent until last week's episode. Malcolm's breakdown was interesting, too.

Yeah, almost felt sorry for him for a moment.

I hate this part of the annual season of Dexter where after every episode I'm left with the worst case of blue balls known to mankind in anticipation for how it is all going to come together.

He seemed more superhero-esque in this last episode. "Oh know Jonah you're mother is here. I must be off. Up, up and away!" "oh that boy that got saved I can't tell you I'm the one who saved him cause I can't give away my secret identity, Murder Bad Guys Man".

Anyways, Lithgow's acting intrigues me while it just seems oddly absurd. I don't want Bautista to get in trouble and Deborah is actually a quality character now which is cool. Masouka isn't half bad either now that he isn't the horny Asian butt of jokes.

Just finished Battlestar Galactica season 1. The ending was genuinely  , must carry on with that.

Yep, quite the cliffhanger. Can't wait for all my work to be done so I can finish off season 4.

Starting Buffy Season 5 and Finishing Angel Season 1.
Both series are fun but I like Angel a whole lot more.

And Angel gets so much better. Buffy, unfortunately, after season 5 gets a hell of a lot worse.

Watched Angel Season 2, definitely better!

As for Buffy just finished Season 7. Season 5 was great, 6 was mediocre with an awesome last quarter of episodes and I really digged Season 7 great ending for a good series.

Only 1 episode of The Wire left, .

Zad, season 5 is intense. All I will say is that Omar is comin', but ain't making the newspaper.

I watched about a season and didn't really get anything out of it. It was the third season so I may have been missing something but drama shouldn't be spread across multiple seasons right?

I watched the first season and a few episodes from the second one and it was pretty pointless.

Halfway through this:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0770652/

Great little-known political drama, nice lefty viewpoint too. Like a more talky 24 in some ways.
