No love for this around here?

I'm really surprised by how promising it is. Father is a strong contender for the worst song Manowar have ever written, but the rest of it is really strong, especially the title track, Let the Gods Decide and God or Man. Let the Gods Decide even has a proper guitar riff!

The remake of The Crown and the Ring is a bit pointless but still ok.

Manowar have rarely been able to write a whole albums worth of worthwhile material. But always unleash a couple killers per disc.

So an EP seems the perfect type of release for them.

I listened to a bit of it on youtube a while back, it just lacks that punch in the face/kick in the nuts that Manowar can deliver.

I just don't get excited about Manowar anymore.

It does, but it delivers it better than the actual metal songs on Gods of War, I think.

This I can agree with you on.

Gods of War had 3 or 4 ball kickers. It just had too much keyboard nonsense in between. Lessened the effect on the testicles.

If that were an EP with just those tracks you'd be singing its praises like here.

Not sure I agree, as I said above, Let the Gods Decide has an actual, honest-to-God, Defenders of the Faith type riff. When's the last Manowar song with a memorable, non dun-da-da-dun riff? There's also more speed on three of the songs than probably the whole of the last album.
