I really tried to like this album but I cant get over the bored and terrible singing of Timo Kotipelto. His vocal work throughout the album just seemed "forced" and emotionless. Now I dont have a problem with non-English lyrics (in fact some of my favorite bands dont sing in English), but I do have a problem when the vocalist cannot pronounce words correctly. Its a shame really as some of the songs were pretty good.

Another flaw in this album were the lyrics, which were beyond simplistic on some of the songs (eg. "More Than Friends").

My score would be around 70/100. With another vocalist and more complex lyrics this could have been a brilliant album.

I don't listen to metal for the lyrics. 90% of metal's lyrics are done poorly.

By the way, I'm still loving this one, still think its a contender for album of the year.
