What does my nationality have to do with this? Desperately groping around for something to throw at me?

Solid hit on the hypocrite there, Octavarius. This isn't about living in the past for H_T, I reckon it's more of a jealousy thing. Mustaine is a thousand times greater at songwriting than any of us amateur garage guitarists will ever be.

For the record, I like Harbinger but I think you're a total cockfag. That's a bit similar to what you think of Megadeth/Mustaine, right?

Well, this is the tea calling the kettle black. It always sounds funny when you complain about somebody complaining. How fucking ironic.

And no need to get personal with this.....like a child. I made an assessment of a media figure i don't care for. Somehow it degenerated into a personal attack on me. Goat, for all his faults and our constant disagreements, for the most part keeps his comments objective and leaves the personal stuff out. I see that I can't rely on you for the same. I wonder your age.

We're metalheads. You attacked an absolute figurehead of metal. We shout you down. It's been like that for quite a while. So in fact, pot-and-kettle-wise, why the fuck are you whining about our ad hominem attacks...

This guy is the biggest asshole on the planet. Any time I get on Blabbermouth there's endless threads about this jerkoff talking about his days in Metallica, or how Endgame is better than Metallica, or how people goad him into talking about Metallica.

This man clearly has:

1.) A massive ego that is;
2.) Driven by an equally massive inferiority complex; and
3.) Run out of ideas that were never really that good in the first place.

As horrible as this is to say, perhaps Dave Mustaine would be more at peace if he were dead. Oh wait, then he'll miss the rapture when all of us "un-saved" people suffer at the hands of the anti-christ. Fuck him.

Talk about an inferiority complex; this thread is a shining example of one.

Everyone bitches about how much Dave talks about Metallica; yet every fucking interviewer and "fan" out there constantly badgers him about Metallica. Then people attack him further. It's fucking stupid. Tell the interviewers to ask some goddamn original questions.

You know what I'm sick of? People like you. See, there's this love affair with tearing people down going on in the world. It's like we're all living in a tabloid these days. It's a joke.

It is a joke. What's even funnier to me is that I pointed out the joke, and then was ridiculed for it. That is almost as funny as the Flemmish lad calling me a cockfag.....? I suppose I know how old he is judging by his pre-teen insults. And nationality had nothing to do with anything. I merely chose to say it to add a bit of flair to the message. As you can see there was nothing aimed at the nationality itself.

Back to my point. If you are going to complain about someone complaining, and then call them a hypocrite, it begs the question, how big is your brain. If you are going to call people out for things that you yourself do, then perhaps it is better to just look in the mirror and say the things to yourself.

And people chastise and criticize figure heads all the time. Just because Dave Mustaine is famous, he should be insulated from ridicule. Get the fuck out of here with that kind of stupidity. Dave Mustaine is ridiculed just for that very reason, his high visibility, which makes his ideosyncratic stupidities all the more noticeable, which is why I chose to use him as an example, he just happens to be the most glaring example.

Ha, you would wouldnt you. That really goes to the substance of a person and cuts deep. Well done, that one should be extremely effective on the playground.

That's how this forum works.

Why do you care, though? I mean, I don't give a shit what Dave says. He's a man trying to make it in a business that until recently has essentially shunned him because of his association with Metallica. But since Metallica somewhat imploded around the time of St. Anger, all of a sudden Dave was thrust into their spot toward the top. It was then easy to trash Metallica, thus Dave was no longer second best.

But now "Metallica is back!" So once again Dave is getting shit on. The problem with Dave is that he's not strong enough to control his emotional outbursts. I know people just like him, and they're not assholes; they're good, kind people with good hearts. Unfortunately, they lose it from time to time when under stress or whatever. It's fucking NORMAL! Sadly, though, sites like Blabbermouth MAGNIFY these normal things to ill proportions, making Internet dummies drool over the chance of talking some shit because they themselves are fucking losers and it makes them feel better.

And all the while, Blabbermouth is making MILLIONS OF DOLLARS off of their stupidity.

Oh, I have a goofy and often childish and crude sense of humor. That has nothing to do with substance, however. Try to smile once in a while, man, you'll live longer. Might get laid, too.

"Shunned because of his association with Metallica??" Boy, that's just about the second dumbest thing I've heard today. MegaDave owes a lot of the publicity and attention he gets because of his association with Metallica. And he has never to my knowledge been shunned by the metal media, seeing as how in the 80's he was considered a pioneer. He also, as hard as it is for me to believe, put out some decent music in the 80's. He has, sadly, spent a lot of his career pining for the same type of success that Metallica has had. And Dave isnt being shit on because of his time with Metallica, he's being shit on because he takes every chance he can get to name drop Metallica, or to talk about how painful it was being thrown out, or some sort of drama with Lars, or how Endgame is better than Death Magnetic, etc. ,etc.,etc.

So you see, Dave, in my estimation, wants to be asked about Metallica as much as possible, so that he can continue the media drama, that he knows in the end will generate interest in his band.

Sounds to me like you don't know what the fuck you're talking about.

Even if Dave was using Blabbermouth to further his own career and insult the 'tallica (which I doubt he is, given how much he seems to dislike Roadrunner) I don't see why that's so terrible. Should Pepsi shut the hell up and accept that they're second to Coke? Should Microsoft just assume that everyone uses their stuff and not bother to take out adverts? It's especially ridiculous in this case since Dave is responsible for very little if any of Megadeth's advertising. Which is handled by Roadrunner, his label. Who, by complete and utter coincidence, run Blabbermouth.

But of course that's all Dave's fault and he'd be at peace if he were dead. Yes.

That last sentence made me laugh. Especially because it follows two well-sized paragraphs containing almost nothing but baseless assumptions about Dave Mustaine. Like you know what you're talking about yourself?

As a side note, maybe because I don't pay any attention to the "metal media," I never associated Mustaine or Megadeth with Metallica at all, even though I knew he was a part of that band. Is it really that much of an issue?

I love being taught about an era from someone who wasn't yet born or was too young to piss in a toilet during said era.

Baseless means there is no evidence to support the contention. i am basing my statement on just about everything I've read concerning Dave Mustaine over the last 5 years.

I personally don't give a rats ass about Dave or anybody else in the world with but three exceptions. These being Jennifer Connely, Aishwarya Rai and my top bands. I agree Dave is a egocentric douche with(impo) terrible vocals, but I just ignore him. There's no sense in getting worked up over something that cannot be helped due to the nature of the free world. Unless the purpose is to bitch about something. But I've got bigger and better fish to fry.

BTW, Holy_Terror what band you in mang? I'd love to hear some samples if that's alright.

Dave Mustaine I'm convinced has lost in mind. All the years of drug abuse coupled with his newly found religious fervor have created a seriously imbalanced mind.

My band is called Harbinger. We just released our debut in August. it's called Doom on You.

You can probably download it for free off of any number of blog sites. Save yourself some money if you want to give it a run. If you like it then I suppose you could order a copy. Either way I hope your rock out to it in a savage way.
