This guy is the biggest asshole on the planet. Any time I get on Blabbermouth there's endless threads about this jerkoff talking about his days in Metallica, or how Endgame is better than Metallica, or how people goad him into talking about Metallica.

This man clearly has:

1.) A massive ego that is;
2.) Driven by an equally massive inferiority complex; and
3.) Run out of ideas that were never really that good in the first place.

As horrible as this is to say, perhaps Dave Mustaine would be more at peace if he were dead. Oh wait, then he'll miss the rapture when all of us "un-saved" people suffer at the hands of the anti-christ. Fuck him.

No doubt Dave is a very odd guy with a lot of major hangups, but he is currently making good music... so no, I don't wish he was dead.

I'm sick of people stuck in the past.

I personally always hated his music. The last album is not an exception. (how can people listen to those godawful vocals? )
At least Metallica did something good.

Yes, because Blabbermouth is about as fair and accurate as Fox News when it comes to reporting. Using a source like that to formulate a death wish is pretty much being a retard. And Endgame fucking rules.

The Blabbermouth posts about Dave don't write any editorial opinions they just put up the interviews, so using the words "fair" and "accurate" is stupid.

And no death wish here, just a death suggestion.

Most thrash unfortunately does suck. And if you're saying that so as to imply that Endgame is a good thrash metal album then you're mistaken on two counts: Endgame is not a thrash metal album, and it is not good.

So unless you're going to comment on the topic of the post then go jerk off.

There's more to it than that. Being so obsessed with the man is one; repeating every single damn thing he says on the 'deth forum of course means that he seems overexposed. MR did an interview with Tuomas from Nightwish in which he revealed an interesting fact about the next album; Blabbermouth ignored it, focused on a bit of whining, and posted a picture of him in a stupid hat next to it. Fair? Accurate? Not at all. Fuck 'em.

Well to be fair, Blabbermouth does alter the information so the headline seems more grabbing, but once you get to the substance of it, i.e. interviews posted in full length, then you see what a pompous asshole Dave Mustaine is.

Blabbermouth is partly to blame, but lets be honest, Dave Mustaine is a media whore and the reason he keeps stoking the Metallica fire is because he needs to make himself a viable media resource. He's always been like that.

For instance, this latest spat he's had with a Danish reporter, the entire interview was posted. Dave attacked the interviewer for supposedly bringing up metallica questions and then doing a piece on Megadeth and dave mustaine that focused solely on Dave's days in Metallica. The interviewer was attacked by an outrageously beligerent Dave Mustaine who couldnt recall any portion of the interview with any accuracy or clarity. The interviewer then correctly pointed out that Mustaine was the one who brought up the Metallica shit.

This is my point. The man does it on purpose. I know the easy solution is to just not read anything about him, but honestly the guy's a fucking embarassment.

Blabbermouth is A LOT to blame. Everything depends on presentation in the media, and just because we're talking Metal rather than politics changes nothing.

As for his spat with the Norwegian ( ) interviewer, he's admitted he was mistaken. Besides, it's certainly not so bad that he needs to die over it. Every interview I've seen with the guy, people bring Metallica up.

I never said I wanted him to die. But anyways, I just hate everything he stands for. The music would be way better if he wasnt so obsessed with outgaining Metallica financially. Nothing he does is genuine, so I guess my big complaint is that this facet of him is so transparent. What a phony.

I'm sure it's better than the thrash albums you consider good. Not to mention the output of your own band, which I'm sure is trying desperately to recapture that 80's thrash sound.
