White Lion's Wait is not a ballad; the same goes to Malmsteen's Icarus Suite; Stryper's First Love sucks(as most of their ballads do); and WASP's the Idol is not from the 80s.

Your right. I knew this all along. I should of mentioned 80's -95

WASP-the Idol came out in 1992

White Lion-Wait is not a ballad, I agree but I hate the song "when the children cry" maybe "broken heart" can pass as one.

Stryper-First Love(only like the first 1min of it though I'm done with the glam.

Yngwie Malmsteen-Crying/Memories

Thanks for the correction. Still love ballads regardless.

Aww, C'mon. When The Children Cry is good  . As for my list. Let me think. Will list metal bands too even though it is a hard rock forum.

Europe - Carrie, Time Has Come

Scorpions - Winds Of Change, Send Me An Angel

Metallica - Nothing Else Matters, The Unforgiven.

Testament - Return To Serenity

Megadeth - A Tout Le Monde (Hope I spelt it right)

That's considering songs from '80-'95. I am sure there are more, but can't think of any now. Thankfully no one mentioned the overrated Silent Lucidity.
