Its a really great album that, though I haven't listened to Neurasthénie yet, partially due to word of mouth.Really beautiful album that runs the whole array of emotions. Thanks for reminding me about it,I've been in a black metal funk lately and been wanting to go through my cd's again.

Sounds pretty damn nice.

Guess I need to hunt down where to order this from!

.:crast:.

ps: A small detail, "Gris" means pig in Swedish, ;)

Haha and grey in Spanish.Always amusing to see word interplay like that. For instance,my woman is mexican, and many words clash from time to time,a common one being way.In spanish it means fool.So "go that way",or "do it this way" leads to some confusing and interesting outcomes haha.

I'm listening to this as I type this, and its just as good if not better than when I first heard it.Its a grower to be sure.So damn gorgeous.

It's wey, not way. It's derived from the word "buey", that means ox. And while it means fool sometimes, it's most used as "dude", or "man". I.e. "You can do it, wey", or what's up wey.

Oh, and the music sounds like something I must get right awey :P thx for the tip, you dago!

I gave a few tracks a listen and I kinda got fed up with the whiny French Canadian lead singer. If he'd just do some sort of other vocal work I think I'd dig this a lot more.

Perdón señor for the spelling error. But seriously its always used as "fool" amongst my girl and her family.Seriously,in their pueblo its like the trendy word amongst young and old alike, and has stuck with my girls siblings into america.Even her mom in her 90's uses it regularly jokingly.

But yeah cd is brilliance,I hope they get another one out relatively soon.

And it's not really spanish, it's a mexican word. If you try to use it in Spain or South America, nobody will understand you.

The other band Sombres Forets is also to check out, inferior to Gris, but still quality black metal.

I actually hate that fucking word, some people cant say a simple sentence without the word "wey" repeated ad nauseum, its fucking annoying, in the southern regions of México mostly in Yucatán we use other words instead of wey, like macho, gallo or tigre it may not be proper spanish but at least theyre real words.

In the southern regions of México people talks in a funny manner, almost singing when they speak. I gave it a spin last night to the album, and I must say the music is really good, but the vocals are a bit weak in some songs. It's amusing the quantity of underground gems like this one that we miss sometimes. Oh, and All Shall Fall is released today!

Apparently these guys have a new album out.

http://www.myspace.com/miserereluminis

Miserere Luminis is a special collaboration of Icare and Neptune from Gris and Annatar from Sombres Forêts.
