Ever worn a tie? I bet you haven't.

Zad, what would you rate this album if you could? And how does it stand up to the rest of their discography in your mind? I think it would've been better to split the former part of your review into an editorial, as it merits far more discussion.

Easily in the 90s. And like I said in the review, I'd have to listen to them for a good long while to sort out favourites; some of the other albums, Neonism esp. if I remember right, rely more on keyboards so I'm not always in the mood. LS has a great balance between melody and harshness. Have you heard Sturmgeist, Cornelius' sideproject? More to the point and catchy, must review those, new one out recently I think.

As for splitting it into a editorial, I considered it, but it felt just as simple to use it as a lengthy introduction. No reason it can't be discussed here, of course.

Haven't heard Sturmgeist, no.

Neonism is fantastic, easily my favourite Solefald (sans LS of course), better even than Pills. I usually despise keyboard-driven metal, but this one's fantastic. The melodies on The New Timelessness especially.
