No I'm good for now. Since my persona is based around being an ass I have to wait now for an even more inappropriate time to express my opinion. For some strange reason I always thought these guys were Edugy (Pronounced Ed-A-Jee). It was only a month back that I noticed it is Edguy.

Sometimes fans get too caught up in a band's sound. The fans are growing and changing as people, but when they sit down to listen someone's work, they expect something that never changes or never changes much. They fail to understand that in order for that to happen, those involved can't change. It's just a bad filter to process art through.

Guess that's not much of a question, huh?

I agree with you to an extent here, certainly a lot of bands change and develop for the better. My problem with Edguy is not that they changed, it's what they changed into. Hellfire Club was a change in style, but a good one. After that...not for me. I won't even go into the fact that this change in style just happened to co-incide with moving to a bigger record label.
