Imo this album is close to a masterpiece. This band has released only two albums in two decades, but when they're on, they're on. They're as close to excellence in doom as anybody can be.

The vocalist of Sacred Steel is on here? His voice is, well, funny and can get annoying at times. It will be interesting to hear him perform here. I will check this out.

Love this gotta love the homage to Pagan Altar, Reverend Bizarre, and Candlemass in the song "The Music of despair", vocally the guy from Sacred Steel sounds very little like the material from his parent band. The music reminds me a lot of Candlemass to be honest, heavy and plodding and great. Going to have to pick this up from Shadow Kingdom now :dio:
