No, I've seen it. What I don't like is people making claims without sources, but whatever.
On an apologetic note, the comparison is a little more apt in Bush's case for the following reasons:
Bush is in fact a war criminal;
Bush used the events of 9/11 to aggrandize his political power, much like Hitler used the burning of the Reichstag;
Bush used a war to distract from domestic problems, again much like what Hitler did.
Of course he's not a mass murder or the epitome of evil to the extent that Hitler was. But there is a somewhat valid argument there.
haha, if I told you that today is Thursday Sept. 17, 2009 and the sun rose this morning, you would need a source?
GTFO.
No, I witnessed it myself. We can debate the logical problems in sense perception and when it becomes necessary to provide sources, but whatever.
You really think you're a lot smarter than you actually are, don't you?
" logical problems in sense perception"... what book did you pull that one out of?
You also
witnessed yourself the Hitler comparisons, you admitted it... yet for one you need the source?

Um. I phrased that myself, thank you very much. The problem of the extent to which our senses can be trusted as a viable form of gathering empirical data is pretty old, and pretty common.
As far as my "witnessing" (quotation marks, as it was indirect) the Hitler comparisons, I asked you for a source because you seemed to be trying to deliberately demonize anti-Bush protesters. As far as I'm concerned, comparing someone to Hitler is not an automatic "FAIL", as some similarities do exist and must be pointed out, but there is a point where the simile is just too much. The point is moot, however, as these "Tea Party Protesters" are practically gathering to protest something ENTIRELY IMAGINARY.
More classic, textbook phrases... whoa, slow down, there, my poor brain is gonna explode...
You either saw it or you didn't. Making a claim is either true or false.
Since you have seen it, it is true. Logic; simple logic.
All that other bullshit is just a bunch of pretentious pseudo-intellectual nonsense, really, it doesn't impress me.
As for the "Tea Party Protestors"... I could give a shit about them one way or the other. But the truth is, we are overtaxed and underpayed, and the government is not held to enough accountability as to what those tax dollars go towards.
