I have listened to soldiers of misfortune from Sacrifice and wanted to check out those guys for sometime. It totally slipped my mind until I came across this thread. Now, will all these bands reforming encourage Anacrusis to reform?

If the new Heathen is anything like their 2005 demo this would be the best thrash album in the last 10 fucking years.

Agreed with Rio about Mekong Delta, Lurking Fear was an excellent album.

Lurking Fear is a hell of an album. Great, but for me the 3 with Wolfgang Borgmann at vocals are incredible.

I wish. I doubt Anacrusis ever comes back. Same with Coroner...

Learn to read, write, and comprehend what other people say/write. Then you can chose who lives and dies. Got it champ?

Haha, for once I'm ahead of you guys. Apparently, they are back together, and planning a new album. MA lists them as Active, so clearly I'm not the only one to think so...

Anacrusis and Coroner are the only two thrash bands that could make me wet myself with excitement by announcing a new album.

I was agreeing with rio that lurking fear is excellent but yeah in no way better than the first three albums, Erich Zahn and Dances of Death stands as two of my favourite thrash albums ever.

Maybe you guys are right :)

Anyway, can't wait for the new one, although no idea when it will emerge.

Didn't Exhorder get back together as well?

That's gotta be up there in terms of anticipation....they'll surely put out something heavy as shit.

Oh, and also Laaz Rockit put out an album last year.

Haven't heard it, but I mean to. Their "Annihilation Principle" is a fucken classic.

EDIT: oh, and I remember that Sabbat (UK) reformed, and have done a bunch of shows. Don't know if they plan to record.

EDIT: Yeah, forgot this too. Mortal Sin released a [not so good] album in 2007. According to their website, they're working on material for a 2009 release. Here's hoping it sees them back to their best.

It's good to see Vendetta and Heathen coming out of retirement. I'd put Brain Damage as one of my top 5 favorite Thrash albums.

Brain Damage is number 1 for me. #2 on a bad day.

And Whiplash has a new album due out next month.

:dio:

Hellwitch?

Technical Thrash/Death band who released an album in 1990. However, I happened across their new one, Omnipotent Convocation, and it is pretty damn cool.

Hellwitch is cool. I've got their first album. Raw, fast, technical, thrash/death. Very cool indeed.

Did not know they were still around. Will check out the new stuff later.

As for my last post in this thread, I was getting excited about a new Whiplash album. Well, I've heard it. Excitement gone...
