I thought it was pretty hilarious, myself. So adorable, Americans' idea of the British.

Plus it leads to one of the best punchlines ever:

(Charlize Theron's character walks across water)

Michael: Wait a minute, that's one of your magic tricks, isn't it?

GOB: That isn't my magic trick, Michael.

(Reflective music plays, fade to black)

Narrator: Next time on Arrested Development...

GOB: It's my illusion!

(everything is set on fire)

I think I cracked up for a good 15 minutes after that.

Just finished Dexter season 3. I'm not even exaggerating, apart from Band of Brothers it might just be the best series I've ever seen. I really get him.

This whole time you have been watching season 3 and I thought you were watching season 4. Silly me.

I might have been a bit unclear.
From what I understand only the first episode of season 4 has "come out" so far, and the rest will probably follow once it starts airing again. Can't wait to see where they go from here.

Yes. The first episode was a preair, I guess it leaked.

I'm currently watching Dexter season 1. I think I'm 6 episodes in and so far it seems good. Does it follow in the same manner throughout this season, season 2 and 3 too?

I'm not sure why anyone would like to get a series spoiled in advance, but yeah, it follows the manner it establishes in season 1; only the twists and turns throughout makes it both unpredictable and always intriguing. It's not like a Prison Break jump from season 1 to 2, but more of evolving the formula in a subtle and welcoming way.

Ok then, thank you. Was just curious. Nothing spoiled so far... :)

I'm overly sensitive about spoilers and stuff, so sorry if I came of as a bitch. There's not much to get upset with over the Internets, but if someone were to spoil a movie/series/game then you'd loose out on lots of potential goodness

Bruce Willis is dead, Sam Jackson is a terrorist, the aliens can be killed with water, the village is next to a highway in the present, Paul Giamatti is a fuck and Marky Mark can't act.

Ok, you could have saved me that one. I haven't seen half of those movies yet, and I was going to watch Donnie Dark soon.

Ehh... M. Night Shyamalan? :D

I think his movies are good. The Sixth Sense, Signs and Lady In The water are very entertaining. Unbreakable is good. The Village is somewhat okay, I guess but nothing amazing. The Happening is pure shit. I agree about Mark Whalberg. Bad acting. But those other guys did some awesome roles in the other movies. Especially Bruce Willis and Paul Giamatti.

I can see why people don't like them. Slow, overdone and badly executed are some lines I've heard from others. But in my opinion, his way of storytelling is refreshing (in most cases). However, if he explores more in the same manner as The happening, someone better shoot the guy and hang him in public.

:D

I watch them for shits and giggles, but he lost any remaining respect when he inserted himself into Lady In The Water as the saviour of mankind. That was a shit film, btw (I think we've had this conversation before?) and apart from Signs which was ok until the end, his films generally are complete shit. I didn't like T6S (too slow, crap twist) and think his least worst was Unbreakable. Obv. The Happening is awful garbage, if mildly amusing for watching Marky Mark pretend to be afraid of wind. Or plants. Or whateverthehellitwas.

Overall, M Night Shyalamanallawallawallabingbang is to cinema what Korn is to Metal; a shitstain upon art.

First of all, sorry. :P

Secondly, I wouldn't say it's not a spoiler but there's just a lot more to it than "Donnie Dies."

Going back to Shaymalan. Unbreakable is one of my favourite movies, The Sixth Sense is great, Signs was good, and then his last three have ranged from meh to ughh.

Unbreakable is great and that Donne Darko spoiler won't make the film less enjoyable.
