Dude, Blood Tsunami is Slayer with bm vocals. To me it qualifies as black/thrash hybrid goodness.

I have to admit, it has also a heavy death metal influence.

But the vocals are reminding me of early Emperor. Whereas Ihsahn was also screaming back then.

To be fair I haven't heard the new Blood Tsunami, but the first one does have some quality moments. But it isn't blackened in any way. It does have screaming though.

Tankard is not some "gimmick side project band".

They are better then all new thrash bands, black or not, and are better then most overrated classic thrash bands.

Tankard rules.

Oh, I meant that they were like Cannabis Corpse (who are also better than most overrated classic death metal bands) because they sing about an intoxicating substance, are awesome, and fit comfortably into one of metal's subgenres.

Cannis Corpse IMO is better than Cannibal Corpse.
