It' the new "back to our thrash roots as that's what the kids want and there's money to be made" Megadeth.

The thrash that Megadeth is playing is different than the thrash the retro bands are playing. Plus, Megadeth is one of the originators of the style, so if they want to play it, fuckin' let 'em. It's what the Megadeth fans want, like me and countless others. Plus, these 3 new songs aboslutely destroy anything Megadeth did on CW, Risk or TWNAH, and would be the some of the best songs on CtE, TSHF, or UA.

Plus, Endorama.

Maybe so, but it's much heavier than anything from Youthanasia. And for what it is, Youthanasia is not a bad album. Just different.

Since CtE the Fans are complaining, that Megadeth are not heavy enough, not fast enough, not Megadeth enough. And then, WHEN they are going back to the roots, it's not the right thing at all, because: It' the new "back to our thrash roots as that's what the kids want and there's money to be made" Megadeth.

So what do you want? Another Risk? Another Youthanasia? Sometimes I don't understand fans at all.

Btw. Death Magnetic doesn't suck, because it's the same: Since the Black Album fans are complaining that Metallica are too whimped, too soft, too slow, too radiofriendly. And when they are bringing back the old Thrash, some fans just can't handle it.

I want musician to be honest to themselves. I don't care what the fans want. Fans are imbeciles and artists should never be lead by the imbeciles' opionion and real artists should never compromise by doing what people are expecting. They're not car sellers for god's sake, they're artists!

Yes but they have to sell cds and tickets for concerts. An artist can't live from fresh air.

And as far as I know, Mustaine always wanted to play the heavyer and faster stuff, while Friedman and the record label wanted them to play more radio friendly.

Bullshit, I don't care what the genre is, as long as they do a good job with it. Death Magnetic was a pathetic attempt at old school thrash. Stick with radio-friendly country metal ballads.
