You can also try the "Heavy Metal Killers" compilation.

"Heavy Metal Killers" features 13 new tracks from the best fresh, young bands who share one common goal — to bring back the glory days of heavy metal and with it, good old-fashioned headbanging riffs and that rarest of talents in this age of growlers — powerful, true heavy metal vocals. Released on the 30th anniversary of the original NWOBHM explosion, this compilation shows that traditional heavy metal is alive and well in the hands of a new breed of bands.

Powervice - Behold the Hand of Glory
White Wizzard - High Speed GTO
Cauldron - Chained Up In Chains
Ram - Sudden Impact
Enforcer - Mistress Of Hell
H.O.D. - Kicked To The Kerb
Crowning Glory - Sea Of Dead Dreams
Portrait - A Thousand Nightmares
Celtic Legacy - Live By The Sword
Alltheniko - Feel The Power
Voltax - Steel Maker
In Solitude - Witches Sabbath
Cast Iron - Running From The Law

Sortilege. Great rockin heavy metal. Really, really, really good. Also I have to second the Pagan Altar recommendation, I would add to the Pagan Altar persuasion with Ritual's "Black Widow".

But if you just want some awesome blazing heavy metal, you're best best is to listen to Agent Steel's "Unstoppable Force", but something tells me Walnut has this already.

I got to work for a day, and come back to see a shit load of recomendations. Awesome! I've heard some of those bands, but the others I will definitely look into. I will get back to you guys on what I liked, and what I didn't dig so much.

Thanks again.

Sortilege is a band I see you talk about a lot, will definitely check them out.

Pagan Altar is on my list.

As for Agent Steel, you know me better then I thought.

Pagan Altar is highly enjoyable, I like the eerie and mystic sound of them.

Have heard a few songs, liked everything I've heard. Just need to hear a full album.
