RORY FUCKING GALLAGHER

Also I downloaded the Rory/Muddy Waters split thing but I don't hear Rory on it at all. Muddy Waters kicks ass too anyways.

The only Hendrix song that's made me go FUCK is "Voodoo Child". I still need to check out Are You Experienced tho.

Will look into Johnny Winter.

Alvin Lee.

And even though I prefer him playing Hard Rock, Gary Moore has some good blues moments.

And of course, the blind guitar man, Jeff Healey.

(And all the ones already cited)

Has anyone heard Chris Rea - Blue Guitars? I'm downloading it because the concept of an 11 CD album that covers the blues's history is way too cool to ignore.

Muddy Waters first. If you guys want to hear a recent blues master who puts Stevie Ray Vaughan to shame, then I invite you to investigate Danny Gatton. The man's blues mastery is unmatched. He's been referred to as the best guitarist to have ever lived.
