Sheeat, haven seen it yet. Good to have something to look forward to then :)

Been watching some Discovery episodes of programs. 100 Greatest discoveries or something I think the name is is really interesting. Dirty Jobs is terrific as well, there are jobs I never even imagined.

The X-Files season 5. Still rolling on and getting better and better. Shit if this continues, this show may very well be my favourite by the end of season 9. :D Well, not really but I really like where the show is heading now.

Just a little tip for you
X-Files Fight the Future (the first movie) bridges seasons 5 and 6 so it would be a good time to watch it after the 5th season.

Oh, thanks. I was wondering about that the other day... couldn't find anything on the net when I searched, so glad you let me know. :)

True Blood hits another home run this week. Hopefully the season continues down this path. Good shit.

Also, Dexter starts in just over a month. Can't wait! :dio:

Finished Buffy season 6. I know everyone had warned me about how bad it was but... god, what a piece of shit. There were three episodes that were great: Once More With Feeling (the musical), Tabula Rasa and Normal Again. Then there were maybe six-seven episodes that were average-to pretty good. And then the remaining 12 episodes sucks balls. Wrecked, the one where an interesting subplot where Willow was becoming corrupted by power is completely abandoned in favour of a horrible metaphor that is beaten into your head over and over and over (Magic=Drugs! Wee! Get it? Get it? Get it? Did the fucking crack-house give it away?), is one of the worst episodes of TV I have ever seen. And I know that sentence doesn't make sense, but coherent thought can't describe how awful that episode is.

Besides that... All the characters are either written as completely depressed and boring (Buffy, and of course Spike, who used to be an awesome character and is now a whining melodramatic emo), annoying as shit (Dawn) or just out of character (Willow, Xander half the time). Everything is just so bloody boring and written so badly, and the show becomes nothing more than a melodramatic soap opera. Once again, I knew season 6 was supposed to be bad, but... I can't believe it was that bad, or that Whedon would approve of this crap. Rant over.

And now I've started Angel season 4, which is very enjoyable. Woo! TV that doesn't suck, how I love thee.

Started Buffy season... 4? last night, she's just started college. Also watching The Wire season 2, so far so awesome, and Battlestar Galactica, season 1. Oh, still on X Files s3 too.

Speaking of The Wire, this was an awesome scene from the first season: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KQbsnSVM1zM (slightly NSFW)

Haha yes that's definitely one of the show's best scenes.

Haha. "Is that a paintball gun?
- Why, yes it is. Pow!"
Jason Stackhouse rules :D

Cant wait for the next episode.

Ah sweet lord, is Dexter coming soon? Gotta be one of the best series in a long time.

Oh Angel season 4, how I love thee. 15 episodes in and it's by far the best Angel season- intense, it never lets up, the characters are all well developed and developing in interesting ways (who'd have though that Wesley would become such a dark badass and dick?) and well written. I know Radagast said that it derails towards the end, but I'm really hoping that's not true... Because if it doesn't, this could be the best season from both Buffy and Angel.

The first two are good. The last few pages have been people posting on those two.

Dead Zone bored me and never saw Life but it had an interesting concept kinda.

Buffy's good but grit your teeth past the first four or so episodes because it takes a while to grab you. On season 4 now, great stuff.

Both Buffy season 1 and Angel season 1 are pretty weak, with a few great episodes here and there. Season 2 of both is where everything takes off.
