Replaying Half Life 2 on hard mode. Those bastard bomb-dropping planes are a right nuisance.

Finally got my platinum trophy for Infamous, im not a big fan of trophies but this game was so much fun that it made sense to pursue the platinum, i know most people liked playing evil better but i found more enjoyable being a hero, the powers are better imo and you really feel like the city loves you, being a villian its fun too but not quite that satisfactory, anyway after two playthroughs i give this game a solid 9/10.

Im now playing little big planet and so far its been tons of fun, behind its cute exterior hides a very solid platformer, i havent tried the whole "create" part of the game but it sounds really interesting.

I got random Jesus fingers while playing COD and somehow started annihilating everything. It was awesome.

I figured this would be the best place to make this post, I bought two new Sephiroth figures, a Red XIII figure and a halloween town Sora from Kingdom Hearts as well as Adrian Veidt from Watchmen :)

Verrryyyy very happy! I should really take pictures of all my figures!

Heh heh, I'm in the same boat, having fun with the stock levels, haven't created any yet. Once you start creating levels, let me know so I can try them out.

Was COD4ing for hours last night (sorry Karmie; forgot to put xfire on) and actually finished third in a match! I got booted from some lame server because I had Last Stand on and couldn't work out how to turn it off, though.

Ah, you should switch to another player class when within a match. You can only make changes to classes between matches, i.e. during the countdown to the next match. If you want suggestions on a replacement perk for it: Deep Impact when you have an LMG or sniper rifle (and don't need or have Iron Lungs yet )or just want to camp, Extreme Conditioning when you like to rush.

Myself, I've bought the Orange Box, Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts and Fallout 3: Operation Anchorage and The Pitt, so I haven't played CoD4 these last few days. I'm willing to go online when you give me a shout, but tonight won't work as I'm bartending.

Vista pisses me off so much. Twice now this evening a game has crashed mid-match, presumably losing me all those experience points I've notched up, not to mention all the kills I'm managing with my occasionally rather nimble fingers. BAH.

It freezes sometimes on my Vista 32-bit laptop as well, but when I press ctrl+alt+del and then click cancel, I'm back to normal in a few secs.

It's beyond freezing I'm afraid; one bluescreen and one 'blahblah has stopped working'.

I need some advice.

I sold Virtua Fighter 4 a while back and am now regretting it. I'm wondering if Virtua Fighter 5 is much better? Would it be worth it to buy back VF4, or is VF5 enough of an improvement that I should just go with that instead? I'll probably get it on my birthday or something (which is in a month and a half).

Some games I've been playing recently over the last days/couple of weeks:

Fable 2 - really enjoyed it in the beginning but after a while it became stale and boring... not for me but an ok game nonetheless. The main story didn't go well together with the "free roaming" part in my opinion.

Gears Of War 2 - now this is more like it! Better than the first and I've just started playing it! Really nice. Seems like everything is taken up a notch from the first one... but I've heard a couple of friends of mine complaining a bit abut the ending. Hope it stays at this level though. Just awesome.

Guitar Hero 3 - This was a nice game. Only wish there had been more interesting songs. Other than that this was a load of fun. Became a bit bored with it after a while so in my opinion this is something you can't sit with for a couple of hours in a row. More like something you just put on and pick a song or two just because there's nothing else to do or if you're feeling bored.

Wow. That's a pretty badass playlist.

Brocas Helm? Jesus, those guys know their metal.

The game itself doesn't look too shabby, either.

I assume you guys are talking about Brutal Legend.

Yes that game does look awesome. Rob Halford and Ozzy are in the game aswell.

And with two of my favorite Ozzy songs: Believer and Mr. Crowley.

It also has my all-time favorite Carcass song: No Love Lost.

Jack Black is quite the connoisseur of metal from what I understand, so I'm not that surprised. I want to see more gameplay, but so far it looks like it will be an awesome game.
