Darkthrone may be the exception.

I have to wait to listen to those though becauase my internet is being gay and I can't download and watch youtube videos at the same time. So when my download finishes, I will listen to those 2 songs.

If you like Darkthrone, I can suggest others like them.

I don't see why it has to be one of two extremes.

Thrash...good.

Thrash/black....also good.

It's not the genre that makes it, ffs. It's the skill/dedication/songwriting prowess of the musicians involved.

That's why every genre has its masterpieces and its failures, which ANYONE can admit, no matter how much they personally love a particular genre.

Some like they thrash metal in the purest form possible, some prefer it mixed with other genres.
