Well, they did one album and keep repeating it since... Hence, one Amon Amarth is enough. Which is the best, I cannot tell but all the albums I've heard are getting quite boring after 2/3 spins.

Nightwish (although there might be some less good than others they are all good IMO)
Porcupine Tree (Ok I haven't heard their whole catalogue but everything from Signify to Fear of A Blank planet is great)




I disagree with Symphony X, I thought V: Mythology to be OK at best,
It has lots of boring moments. As for Lost Paradise I think it's overrated I prefered the odyssey and Divine Wings of Tragedy.
