Finally just started playing Assassin's Creed for the first time. Not too far in yet, but it seems pretty cool.

I had to start that again after my HD failed and I gave up ten minutes into the boringashell training section. The whole virtual reality/access memories thing is such a waste of everything, they should have let you gone straight into being a badass assassin who acts like an emo in the first level.

You have until November to beat it, achievement whore it and then get ready for Assassins Creed 2. Which looks vastly superior.

The link works for me. Infinity ward is really going balls out on this one. It's going to be ridiculously good like the first one or fail terribly. In any way I don't need a fucking night vision goggle and I will never need one unless I want to become a part time rapist.

Well, the custom kill streak loadouts seem fun to me, but I have a nasty feeling it will be overpowered and that actual skill will be thrown out the window again. UAV will probably still be the most useful of the lot.

I always get shot just as I'm reaching for the "6" to activate my radar. Camping bastards. :sad:

Still, it's amazing how much more fun COD4 is online that Team Fortress 2, I'm bored with that already.

There's actually a difference in speed with how weapons are drawn. Pistols are fastest, of course, but some weapons are inexplicably faster than others. Compare a P90 with an MP5, for example, the latter is drawn much faster. This has quite an effect on reaching for the kill streak functions. If you're playing with a 'slow' weapon, I advise you to reach switch to your pistol before calling in UAV or whatever.

Now playing Mirror's Edge. Not nearly as good as I was expecting, but still a fun play. I finished it last night and I'm doing all the speed runs and stuff now.

Yeah, I agree. In the gaming world it's not such a big deal, but in the COD world, it is.

Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 just came out on XBLA and PSN today. Unfortunately for me, the PSN version is (according to IGN) better. But nonetheless, I'll definitely be downloading the demo version of the XBLA edition probably tomorrow.

The problem with fighting games on Xbox is that the arrow buttons are shit. Other than that, the controller is superior in every way.

Downloaded the new Gears of War 2 stuff last night. I got Dark Corners, not All Fronts as I already have all the other map packs. Will be playing it tonight and voicing opinion later.
