br00tal.

The only albums I ever revisit by CC are Tomb Of The Mutilated, Gallery Of Suicide, and Kill. Evisceration Plague was a pretty big disappointment after Kill, which blew me away.

Just got back from a Cannibal Corpse concert...

They played well, but I found Fisher's vocals to be even more monotonous than on CD, and I grew tired of their set a couple songs in. After the 20th and final song, I was definitely ready to call it a night. The crowd was pretty into it, but their set felt a bit stale ( IMO ) and there wasn't a lot of energy behind the performance... That... And I dunno... It just got boring.

Behemoth and The Black Dahlia Murder totally stole the show from them, IMO. Especially Behemoth. I'd love to see them at a larger venue with an extended set. I'm pretty sure their drummer isn't human.

The venue I was at had great sound, and all the bands sounded on point, I just got bored with CC was all.

The Slowdown is the best venue in Omaha. You should go there Tuesday nights for pub quiz. So much fun.

I'm not a very BIG death metal fan (apart from Death and Morbid Angel) so I'm not much into them. But The Bleeding on the other hand, is such an excellent album. I've tried listening to their disco, but Bleeding still comes out tops. It had a special groove in it.

I would say they have been very consistent. And perhaps, the disciplined life they lead played a part in making them the band that they are now. It could be a factor, just like Maiden.

the bleeding was a good record, a lot of their earlier stuff is straightforward intensity. Barnes is a terrible vocalist IMO

I have enough Cannibal Corpse to last me the rest of my life. I loved the band when I first discovered them but after my girlfriend got me Evisceration Plague for Valentine's Day and the new DVD for my birthday, I told everyone who knows me to stop giving 'Corpse material for birthdays / holidays.

Hell yes. Last year at Metalcamp they played in the middle of a huge rainstorm at continued at it until they had to stop - the monitors were filled with water. Now there's dedication.

Haha, I wouldn't say terrible but I just don't enjoy it. I like George's style a lot better. But The Bleeding wouldn't be what it is if not for Chris. I think his vocals fitted perfectly well.

If I was playing and it was raining heavily, the first thing I'd be worried about is my guitar! You're right, that's pure dedication by Behemoth.

when i was discovering death metal cc was the only band i could listen to
and everywhere you will see lots of kids with cc shirts which leads them into listening to better bands like morbid angel, death and obituary
so i have to say they found a formula that works for them and they should mainly stick to it but slightly diversify their material within that formula

CC are great but not creative.
their song always include gore, zombie, killing and that's it!
I think a seasoned metaller should be multi-faceted when it comes to thier songwriting!

They are multi-faceted in the methods of killing they write about. Who else has a song about five nails going through your neck or being fucked with a knife? Pure poetic genius if you ask me.

I love the song title Entrails Ripped from a Virgin's Cunt, haha. My English teacher in school was like "wtf do you listen to that for?" and me and my mate were like "fuck you bitch or your entrails are gonna get ripped out".

Not really, but she was shocked at the title.
