They were listened to pretty heavily by me in my earlier days of listening to metal when I didn't know about a lot of bands, same with Metallica. I just can't listen to them anymore, I don't like the music.

Listening again after a long while, I don't think I enjoy slayer anymore. Besides RiB, the only thing that I was enjoying off of Stefan's compilation were the songs off God Hates Us All so then I listened to Disciple and enjoyed it. So yeah I'm not that big of a Slayer fanm anymore. I'd rather have Destroyer 666 for extreme-ness or Megadeth and Metallica for riffs.

I want to give honorable mention to Unguarded Instinct. Its rare that a song that only shows up on a Japanese release is better than the every song on the US release, but that is one instance.

Agreed with your last sentence: up to Divine Intervention all their albums are good or great. My point was that nowadays, being a Slayer fan is no more a guarantee you're a truely devoted metalhead; plenty of trendy idiots who don't know shit about metal worship Slayer, and that fact has ALOT to do with the fuckin' moronic poser Kerry King has turned into, and how their music turned into pure trendy crap; on the other hand, you can despise or hate Slayer and still be a respect deserving soldier of metal(at least in my eyes).
