I would also like more reviews of Power Metal around here but as all the others are saying... it varies from week to week. After all, it's not called powermetalreviews.com, so everyone should expect every genre of metal being reviewed here, right? I mean, not everyone is a fullblown PM'er and for that shit, you have metalcdratings.com.

He has good taste in Doom... He loves Candlemas, Isole, Jex Thoth, Yob, Sahg .... all great bands.
And if I don't remember wrong, some other bands he like are Cynic, Opeth, Wealking, Krallice... all excellent.

Some of the groups he likes are very meh, but he's far of being the one with the lamest taste.

You can see where the anti-noodles brigade are coming from, though. Saying something as silly as 'black metal sucks', even as a joke, is just daft and sure to cause hatred.

I think even black metal bands are starting to realize it sucks which is why there's so many modern dudes like Negura Bunget and Urfaust who spend like half their time playing not-black metal.

I really like the song FCEPREMIX or whatever but nothing else by them has really grabbed me in the same way. I always feel like I should listen to them more but then I always end up deleting their albums. Guitar parts are really awesome but their singer bugs me. Apparently Rody Walker is guesting on their new album so I'll definitely listen to that song.
