I also loved "As Daylight Dies", and although the new one isn't as good IMO it has grown quite I bit on me. I'm convinced you'll like it as well.

Aeon Spoke - Aeon Spoke (Paul Masdival has such a nice voice. If he did something halfway in between this and Cynic I think it would be really really amazing.)

Yeah, I also think they're awesome. I've only really been sinking my teeth into their debut. But Isolate sounds great too. I actually didn't know Prog metal could be this melodic. :)

If they wanted to, they could write one hell of a full blown prog album, but their love of melody keeps them from going to technical. I think they compete with some of the greatest prog out there. Such an amazing band.

I'll just go with five albums I've found myself listening to most lately since there are quite a few albums that tend to be consistantly up there as my "favourite albums of all time".

Lately five albums I've listened to quite a lot are:

Witchtrap - No Anesthesia
Cor Scorpii - Attergangar
Kreator - Endless Pain
Witchburner - Blasphemic Assault
Hypocrisy - Osculum Obscenum

I think they have a new album out this year or something. Should be cool to see how it turns out. If it's gonna be more "united" and connected as Isolate or a bit more experimental and daring as the debut. :)
